This HDMI extender uses two UTP CAT-5e/6 cables with cross stand to extend the HDTV display to a maximum of 60 metres for a video resolution of 1080p. CAT-5e/6 cables have a larger transmission length than HDMI cables, and also offer more flexibility and convenience in cable construction.
The extender is equipped with HDMI connectors and supports DVI equipment when used with an HDMI to DVI adapter, providing greater flexibility and options when used in several home theatre components.
